TODAY IS THE DAY!!
Hello hello hello,
Today we have launched our website - YAAAY!
First and foremost WELCOME & a massive THANK YOU!
Thank you for taking the time to check out our new website & come read our first blog post, eeek.
We are so excited that we can finally share this with you. The process of creating a website has been somewhat challenging, with factors that we felt we would never see the end of.
Yet, here we are today with a functioning website! HOORAY!!
As most know a website it a continual process and as much as we know we will continue to learn and grow with our website, feedback is always welcome, so please if you have any hints & tips or anything you think we should change then comment below.
We have to say we are quite proud of what we have achieved so far and we have lots of idea's and thought's bubbling around that we can't wait to share with you on this blog.
We want to use this blog as a behind the scenes to help keep you informed in everything we are up to.
So what have we been up to lately?
Up until now we have been working hard behind the scenes to get our collection up and running, as well as upcycling furniture for customers and for Glasgow Shabby Chic.
Glasgow Shabby Chic is an upcycling business that was started by the charity Glasgow the Caring City. We have now been handed the reigns and are collaborating in upcycling one off pieces that are up for sale on their Facebook page - go check it out!
Along with creating these unique pieces, we have customers approach us with their own ideas for us to work on together. This is a lot of fun as we get to create a new piece of furniture that has been specifically tailored to their wants and needs.
Furthermore, once a month you can find us at BIG FEED. Big Feed is an indoor food festival in the south side of Glasgow: for the weekend we set up shop selling our products and allowing people to lino print their own bags. This has been a great success and allows people to get in touch with their creative side and learn new techniques, while allowing us to meet new people and other creatives, oh & enjoying the odd Espresso Martini from time to time!
Here are a few pics...
So, I think we are just about up to date for now, let us know what you have been up to & have you ever been to the Big Feed?
Catch up with you soon & again THANK YOU!!
